This demo contains the first five chapters of the story. They are part of the fourth book in an epic series, and are the result of over a year of hard work. This book is longer than the others and has illustrations in every chapter. That and paying my taxes wouldn’t have been possible without my awesome patrons!

The third book already gave me a major bad heartbreak. Like seriously, Toshio begged the heroine to stay! (Romance route of Tosh) And now as I glimpse some chapters in this fourth one—Jun wasn’t have bad afterall. No offence but not to mention him being crazy but yeah-they really quite have fond memories with the heroine. I’m still rooting for Tosh to win her back; with all this crazy thoughts running through my head, I couldn’t help it but silently wish that this book will be soon release! Author-senpai, fightin’!
I’m truly captivated by the story, it’s characters, it’s wits n humour in each line. I don’t know how to convey these feelings of mine— inspite of reading many a LNs n webnovels.. THIS one truly unleashed all my kinks n fetishes😏.. Thank u author-dono n keep going with SOH..
Now that the Fourth Book’s Demo is out, do you have an approximate release date for the Fourth Book itself?
Book 4 has just entered the publishing process, which can be pretty lengthy and involves a content review, copyediting, playtesting save imports from Book 3 and so on. I imagine it’ll be a few weeks yet until we’ll get a release date.
AHHH! Is this the last book? I’m saddened, but I really can’t wait all the same. I wonder how many chapters are in this one, I want to hold onto this experience a tad bit longer :’)
Lol no worries Sad Sod, there will be a total of six books in the series. Book 4 will be 25 chapters, and much longer than the previous books!

We’ll see though, it’s the plot development anyway, I’d like to know more about Jun and MC’s past and present when they meet again too. Looking forward to it! Just keep in mind that I really love Tosh and Masa(which make me sad there’s no hint that he’s able to be RO so far. I just thought the chemistry between ’em is good, the personality clash in their relationship just felt..comfortable and Masa himself seems to indicate that he has more than frienship/brotherly feelings for MC, which I find really cute..there’s a lot of argument out there about him being RO though, hhmp heartless)

No problem! Because Masami is depicted as an underaged character, there will be no romantic scenes with her until after a timeskip in the story. After that timeskip occurs, it’ll be possible.
Current potential romances are: Momoko, Baron, Toshie/Toshio, Kohaku, Junko/Jun
any chance for polyamory/polygamy.

With all the possible endings the series to will one day have, one or more will definitely have a harem. As far as romances go, pursuing any RO won’t block you out of pursuing others.
Do you have any information regarding the possible release date? I’m sorry but I’ve been wanting for months since the demo got released and not having any information about the release of the full game is s bit frustrating.
I know it’s been released on Steam, so I think it’ll be out completely within the month.
It’s not released on Steam yet. It’s currently ‘Coming Soon’. I expect it to be released on Steam at the same time as it’s released on the mobile markets.

Are there any paths in which toshie survives chapter 5? Her death didn’t make much sense to me considering her appearence was quite random. Great books nontheless, favorite choices game by far.
I would recommend re-reading those chapters. That’s not actually Toshie.

I agree with Leif, this is by far the most enjoyable and probably my favorite CoG/HG novel out there. I cannot wait for the last 2 installments of the series. I’ve seen Samurai of Hyuga on the CoG site 4 years ago but back then I was too lazy to immerse myself into the book/series, I’m very happy that I decided to read it with the release of book 4 because it is one hell of an adventure.
Thank you for your hard work and time continuing on with the series. thank you for writing such an enjoyable interactive novel.
Your books have always elicited the most visceral responses from me and I find myself relating with the MC in more ways than I’d often care to admit. The complexities of your characters never cease to amaze me, and I feel in many ways you’ve provided me with an outlet to work through my own less than healthy past relationships and the confusing feelings that accompany them.
That being said, I think there’s something to be said about a piece of art that elicits these types of emotions and provokes thinking on an interpersonal level while maintaining a fantastic and beautifully written plot, and I just want to thank you for that. Since Book One, this series has been one of my absolute favorites and I cant wait to see where you will take it from here.
